A cultural landscape is presented in contemporary literature in various ways, and one of productive tools is literary anthology. Literary Galicia and Lviv are presented by numerous literary collections published in Poland, Austria, Germany, Ukraine, and the USA in different languages. The cultural landscape is understood as places with different historical and cultural significance. Continuity of the cultural landscape is limited by historical and political circumstances, but it could be developed through new literary projects, which arrange ‘old’ texts according to ‘new’ intellectual plots and emphasize symbolic meaning of different ‘spatial phenomena’. The newest digital collections are even more flexible and inclusive but they also require new principles of representation. One of attempts will be analyzed as conceptual proposal organized by triad anthropos – topos – tropos: “Imaginary Map of the Literary Lviv (+-1939)” (project created by the Center for Urban History of East Central Europe).
