The Erasmus+ International Project
The aim of the project is to bring together universities with a strong scientific competence for Southeast European studies and to foster the joint development of modern curricula, teaching methods, and promotion strategies of young scientists. It combines students and researchers from linguistics, literature, history, social and political science to improve the education of young experts for the Balkans.

Incentives
The Erasmus+-projects are part of CoLABnet - the network for competencies in the humanities on the Balkans. Please refer to the ColABnet site for more information.
Mobilities
The project includes mobilities for students and staff.
The duration of the students mobilities is typically 4 months, but longer stays are possible if enough funding is still available. B.A. and M.A. students participate in the host university's programme in order to obtain ECTS points. PhD students may either participate in a given programme or use the mobility for research and thesis writing, depending on the host university.
Staff members have two possibilities: Either they come for teaching or for training. Both mobility types can have a duration between 5 days + two travel days and 14 days. Teaching mobilities include 8 hours of teaching for 5 days or 1,6 hours per working day. Training mobilities can be set up on demand in close cooperation with the partner institution.
Please note that staff mobilites have to be integrated into CoLABnet or one of the CoLABprojects.
Funding
The financial support for students consists of 800 € per month for students coming to Berlin and 650 € per month for students going from Berlin. Additionally, a travelling allowance of 275 € is offered.
